This is a rare opportunity to help shape the communications and information technology backbone supporting one of the Air Force's most significant modernization efforts. As a Contingent Upon Contract Award position, you will support the bed-down mission by guiding secure communications, network integration, and classified information system efforts across the Program Integration Office (PIO), HQ AFGSC, the host wing, and Department of Defense stakeholders.
The Communications Lead serves as a seasoned professional bridging technical complexity and mission-ready solutions. You will participate in the design and execution of network and IT bed-down activities, providing critical analysis and reporting on status, risks, and recommended solutions. This role requires close collaboration with communications and IT professionals to ensure compliance, security, effectiveness, and timely execution across the enterprise.
Ideal candidates are driven by secure operations, high-stakes coordination, and meaningful defense support. You will work in sensitive, high-security mission environments, translating technical challenges into actionable strategies that support the integration of nuclear command, control, and communications systems when required.
This position is contingent upon the award of a contract. Candidates must possess an Active TS/SCI clearance to be considered for this role.
