About the Role
The Enterprise Scheduling Engineering organization is responsible for the end-to-end management of the Batch Scheduling environment. As a Lead Systems Engineer, you will administer and provide operational support for Distributed Scheduling across Linux and cloud-based platforms. Your primary objective is to deliver flexible, scalable scheduling capabilities through self-service and automation while enforcing best practices to reduce risk and accelerate enterprise-wide automation.
In this role, you will partner closely with infrastructure-as-code-driven automation initiatives to design, develop, and deliver new capabilities, as well as enhance existing solutions. You will collaborate with project managers, operations teams, and experienced team members to drive system performance, manage risks, and support outage resolution.

- check_circleConduct root cause analysis of issues and perform unit testing using IDE tools
- check_circleCreate and publish system documentation for enabling IT to use automated scheduling solutions
- check_circleAdminister and support Distributed Scheduling across Linux and cloud-based platforms

- check_circlePartner with vendors for health checks, case management, and solution implementation
Requirements
- verifiedMinimum 4 years of related experience
- verifiedBachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
- verifiedMinimum 4 years' experience in Linux Administration
- verifiedMinimum 4 years' experience in Automation Skills (Shell scripting, Python scripting)
- verifiedMinimum 4 years' experience in Distributed Scheduling (Autosys and Airflow)
