About the Role

As a Lead Cloud AI Platforms Engineer, you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. Reporting to the Senior Manager Cloud Platforms, you will serve as the lead technical expert on a team of Cloud AI Platform Engineers, supporting projects for Hilton's Data Science, Distribution, and Call Center teams.

In this role, you will collaborate with others to support Hilton's Cloud AI and ML platforms, including LLM application development, prompt engineering, data engineering, and go-to-market strategies. You will work alongside other engineering teams to ensure adherence to Hilton standards and processes within the Hybrid Cloud environment. Your day-to-day involves identifying opportunities for AI, ML, and data infrastructure automation, creating solutions for complex cloud infrastructure challenges, and providing detailed guidance on vulnerability management to the cloud estate.

You will take ownership of projects that require you to act as a technical expert to different parts of the business, consulting business and application teams on AI and ML cloud patterns. You will build AI and ML solutions using infrastructure as code tools and assist teams in deploying workloads into AWS Bedrock, AWS SageMaker Studio, OpenSearch, and other cloud AI and ML technologies.
