JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract (J-Tech II). About the Role
This position serves as a critical Systems Administrator within our government support team. You will be responsible for the daily operation of MS Windows server environments, ensuring system security, proper access controls, and reliable backups. Your work involves configuring systems, establishing standards, and maintaining hardware/software compatibility to support stable performance for complex test and training operations.
In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for problem reporting, version updates, and support contracts. You will design functional web pages, manage directory structures, and assist staff in utilizing the Department's Document Management and Configuration Management systems. The role requires you to plan and execute system upgrades across design, test, production, and documentation environments while making recommendations for future hardware and software implementations.
You will work with considerable independence to complete complex assignments requiring originality and ingenuity. Success in this position involves routinely crossing technical fields to complete varied assignments, updating or repairing computer systems, and coordinating with other organizations during upgrades and policy changes. You must adhere to strict operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements.

This position is part of a federal government contract, which requires U.S. citizenship. Candidates must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a government security clearance. Additionally, a valid, state-issued driver's license is required. The inability to obtain or maintain the necessary clearance or license may affect employment eligibility.
