About the Role
This position serves as the highest operational escalation point for data center hardware support, ensuring resilience, reliability, and availability at scale. You will lead complex change activities and site augmentations, driving the standardization of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Methods of Procedure (MOPs) across regions. The role is designed to bridge the gap between engineering, capacity, networking, and security teams to anticipate risks and implement architectural improvements.
In this capacity, you will not only oversee the lifecycle management of servers and components but also coach teams on advanced power distribution and complex hardware interventions. Your day-to-day involves leading cross-functional triage for incidents, directing root-cause analysis, and establishing fix-forward plans. You will shape ticket taxonomies and automation triggers to improve response consistency while ensuring all high-risk work adheres to strict safety, security, and compliance protocols.
Beyond technical execution, this role is pivotal for continuous improvement. You will lead post-incident reviews and enterprise-level Root Cause Analyses (RCAs), socializing learnings to implement durable design and process changes that reduce risk across the fleet. You will also mentor technicians and specialists, setting expectations for execution quality and building capability through training and coaching.
