You'll work alongside experienced surveyors and engineers, using GPS, total stations, and other equipment to support boundary, topographic, and construction staking surveys.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleConduct topographic, boundary, and construction staking surveys using GPS and total stations
- check_circleAccurately collect and record field data in accordance with project requirements
- check_circleMaintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot field surveying equipment as needed
- check_circleRead and interpret survey notes, plans, and maps to guide fieldwork activities
- check_circleEnsure all field activities follow company standards, OSHA safety procedures, and regulations
- check_circleCollaborate with Survey Crew Chiefs and project teams to ensure precise data collection
- check_circleTravel daily to job sites and work in various outdoor field conditions and weather environments
Requirements
- verifiedHigh school diploma or equivalent
- verifiedAssociate or bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, or related field preferred
- verifiedMinimum 2 years of field surveying experience preferred
- verifiedExperience operating GPS units, total stations, and data collectors
- verifiedValid driver's license and reliable transportation
- verifiedUnderstanding of OSHA safety standards and Illinois labor laws
Nice to Have
Associate or bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of field surveying experience. Familiarity with Trimble equipment.
