About the Role

We're seeking a Survey Field Technician who enjoys working outdoors, solving problems on the fly, and collecting precise data that brings land development projects to life. You'll work alongside experienced surveyors and engineers, using GPS, total stations, and other equipment to support boundary, topographic, and construction staking surveys.

Key Responsibilities

  • check_circleConduct topographic, boundary, and construction staking surveys using GPS and total stations
  • check_circleAccurately collect and record field data in accordance with project requirements
  • check_circleMaintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot field surveying equipment as needed
  • check_circleRead and interpret survey notes, plans, and maps to guide fieldwork activities
  • check_circleEnsure all field activities follow company standards, OSHA safety procedures, and regulations
  • check_circleCollaborate with Survey Crew Chiefs and project teams to ensure precise data collection
  • check_circleTravel daily to job sites and work in various outdoor field conditions and weather environments

Requirements

  • verifiedHigh school diploma or equivalent
  • verifiedAssociate or bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, or related field preferred
  • verifiedMinimum 2 years of field surveying experience preferred
  • verifiedExperience operating GPS units, total stations, and data collectors

Nice to Have

Associate or bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of field surveying experience. Familiarity with Trimble equipment.
