We are seeking an experienced Surgical / Operating Room Tech to support complex adult surgical procedures within a fast-paced acute care trauma center in Syracuse, NY. This 16-week contract role is designed for professionals who thrive in high-volume evening environments, maintaining strict sterile techniques and ensuring patient safety while driving efficient OR workflow.
You will be a vital member of the surgical team, assisting surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia staff during a wide variety of procedures including trauma, orthopedic, general surgery, ENT, vascular, and GYN cases. The position requires the ability to anticipate team needs, manage sterile fields, and handle surgical instrumentation with precision. While independence is key, you will work collaboratively to ensure smooth room turnover and adherence to infection prevention protocols.
