We specialize in conservative spine treatment for neck and low back pain, offering a comprehensive approach that includes trunk stabilization physical therapy, medication management, activity modification, and therapeutic injections. For patients who have not responded to these conservative programs, we provide access to a range of surgery options, ensuring they benefit from skillfully applied spine surgery interventions when necessary.
About the Role
As a Surgery Case Manager and Scheduler, you will serve as the central coordinator for the entire surgical journey, bridging the gap between conservative care and surgical intervention. This role is critical for ensuring that patients who require surgery receive seamless, efficient, and compassionate support from pre-authorization through post-operative follow-up.
In this position, you will manage the complex logistics of the surgery process, including securing pre-authorizations, handling pre-operative certifications, and coordinating schedules with outside facilities. You will act as a primary point of contact for patients, providing clear and timely education on pre-operative instructions and post-operative care. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with billing, coding, and collections teams, while managing Independent Medical Evaluations (IMEs) and durable medical equipment needs. Your work ensures that surgeons, patients, and stakeholders are always informed of any changes, cancellations, or critical updates regarding surgical procedures.
