About the Role
This position is responsible for recommending and administering basic and advanced therapeutic and diagnostic procedures to patients with respiratory disorders, including those in adult and neonatal critical care units. Key procedures include arterial blood gases, neonatal procedures, trauma care, and ventilator transports.
Beyond direct patient care, you will function as a vital resource to Respiratory Care Practitioners (RCP) I and II, actively leading advanced patient education and participating in departmental operations. You will provide expert respiratory advice to physicians and other staff, ensuring safe, compassionate, and personalized experiences for patients and colleagues while adhering to all organizational standards and budgetary specifications.

Requirements
- verifiedCertified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
- verifiedCurrent Respiratory Care Practitioner License or Temporary Respiratory Care Practitioner License
- verifiedBasic Life Support Certification
- verifiedTwo (2) years of critical care experience, preferred
- verifiedRRT preferred
- verifiedBachelor's degree preferred
Nice to Have
3+ years ICU experience, RRT certification, pediatric experience, Bachelor's degree, two of the following certifications: ACLS, PALS, NRP, CPFT, RPFT, RPSGT, Asthma Certified Educator, NRP Instructor, ACLS Instructor, PALS Instructor, or BLS Instructor, and two years of critical care experience.
