About the Role
This position is responsible for recommending and administering basic and advanced therapeutic and diagnostic procedures to patients with respiratory disorders, including those in adult and neonatal critical care units. Key responsibilities include performing arterial blood gases, neonatal procedures, trauma care, and ventilator transports.
You will function as a vital resource to Respiratory Care Practitioners (RCP) I and II, actively leading advanced patient education and participating in departmental operations. The role requires providing expert respiratory advice to physicians and staff, ensuring safe care for patients, staff, and visitors, and promoting individual professional growth by serving as a preceptor and mentor to less experienced colleagues.

Requirements
- verifiedCertified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
- verifiedCurrent Respiratory Care Practitioner License or Temporary Respiratory Care Practitioner License
- verifiedBasic Life Support Certification
- verifiedTwo (2) years of critical care experience, preferred
- verifiedRRT preferred
- verifiedPediatric experience preferred
- verifiedBachelor's degree preferred
Nice to Have
3+ years ICU experience, RRT certification, Pediatric experience, Bachelor's degree, RRT certification, Two of the following certifications: ACLS, PALS, NRP, CPFT, RPFT, RPSGT, Asthma Certified Educator, NRP Instructor, ACLS Instructor, PALS Instructor, or BLS Instructor, Two years of critical care experience.
