About the Role
This position is dedicated to providing high-quality medical nutrition therapy to patients and clients within our multi-disciplinary treatment teams. As a resource to physician staff and colleagues, you will assess nutritional needs, deliver tailored medical nutrition therapy, and provide essential nutrition education. Your work will primarily focus on inpatient care at the TIRR Rehab location, ensuring that nutrition regimens are modified to align with patients' food preferences, tolerances, and cultural or religious backgrounds. Beyond the hospital walls, you may also participate in community service by offering nutrition education to various groups and individuals.
Work Schedule & Location
This role is based at our medical center TIRR Rehab location and requires weekday coverage. The schedule consists of 20 hours per week, spread across three days per week with 6–8-hour shifts. While flexible coverage is available during the week, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday are preferred.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's Degree in Food & Nutrition or related area
- verifiedMaster's required if registration obtained after Jan 1, 2024
- verifiedRegistered with ADA Commission on Dietetic Registration
- verifiedLicensed with Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
- verifiedCPR Certification (Heart Saver) from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- verifiedCompletion of qualified professional experience for registered dietitian exam
