Proceeds generated from asset sales are used to compensate victims, supplement funding for law enforcement initiatives, and support community programs.
The Marshals Service manages various types of assets, including real estate, vehicles, commercial businesses, cash, financial instruments, jewelry, art, antiques, collectibles, vessels, and aircraft.

In this role, you will supervise the work of subordinate staff and coordinate with other support components to accomplish work. You will set goals and priorities in accordance with task order requirements and quality objectives, while monitoring work to ensure it meets all requirements and is delivered on time. Your day-to-day will involve formulating administrative and technical procedures to troubleshoot workflow issues, improving quality and timeliness, and developing systems to track, control, and manage case files and exhibits.
You will perform complex technical and factual research, keeping customers and senior management updated on operational status and plans. As a leader, you will manage personnel in accordance with contract and company requirements, including monitoring productivity, providing constructive feedback, managing leave requests, reviewing timesheets, and administering employee evaluations. You will act with appropriate speed to resolve employee concerns and work with senior management and Human Capital Management to address conduct and performance issues.
This position requires U.S. Citizenship and a 7 (or 10) year minimum background investigation. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to lead by example and maintain a professional disposition under extreme pressure.
This position is not currently approved for telework and requires work to be performed onsite.
