This position is part of Alcon's Quality & Regulatory Affairs function, a team dedicated to ensuring our products comply with global, local, and internal regulations while meeting the strictest standards of quality. As the Supervisor of Quality Control Labs (Management Path), you will lead the Incoming Inspection area, ensuring smooth daily activities aligned with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements such as Data Integrity (DI), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), and Good Distribution Practice (GDP). Your role involves supervising staff, ensuring the quality of test results, conducting investigations for inspection failures, assisting in budget planning, and supporting safety and data integrity initiatives.

Direct leadership experience managing either exempt or non-exempt (hourly) employees. Demonstrated experience in data analytics, including reject trending, KPI development, KPI monitoring and trending, and the creation of data dashboards to drive continuous improvement and enhance business operations. Proven experience implementing new technologies to streamline raw component flow from receiving through inspection. Strong background in optimizing manual operations to reduce cycle time, to minimize sources of variation, and to identify cost‑saving opportunities. Working knowledge of statistical principles and sampling plans, including ANSI/ASQ Z1.4. Experience leveraging AI tools to streamline operational workflows and enhance communication effectiveness. Demonstrated success in transforming paper‑based processes into efficient digital solutions.
