This off-shift position is located within our Plant 3 and serves as a vital link between planning, management, and execution. You will direct and motivate the manufacturing workforce to produce products of high quality in the most efficient and safe manner, ensuring that scheduling meets both business and customer needs.
In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to the planning process, anticipating needs and preparing operations for optimal execution. You will lead by example, facilitating a safe environment and working effectively within the parameters of the bargaining unit contract. Your focus will be on optimizing processes to eliminate waste, increase quality, and align resources to desired outcomes. As a facilitator, you will interact with internal and external stakeholders at multiple levels, acting as a liaison to ensure accurate communication and flow.
You will be expected to respond effectively to unforeseen circumstances, modifying labor schedules or variables as needed. By delegating effectively and explaining the "why" behind directives, you will advocate for the business while maintaining approachability and managing conflict. Your "finger on the pulse" of the plant will enable you to monitor for physical and personnel issues, using data and patterns to make recommendations that drive continuous improvement and ownership among your team.

Experience supervising in a manufacturing environment. Experience with TPM, Synchronous Mfg., and Kaizen Concepts. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, good team building skills, excellent people skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, and technical orientation. Energetic and self-starter with ability to promote and implement change. Good PC skills, good telephone skills, strong organizational skills, and ability to promote a continuous improvement atmosphere.
Skills: TPM, Synchronous MFG, Kaizen Concepts, 6S.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
