This off-shift position is located within our Plant 3 and serves as a vital link between planning, management, and execution. The role is designed to direct and motivate the manufacturing workforce to produce products of high quality in the most efficient and safe manner, ensuring that scheduling meets both business and customer needs.
You will act as a strategic partner to the planning process, anticipating the needs of multiple stakeholder groups to prepare the operation for optimal execution. As a leader, you will facilitate a safe environment, lead by example, and work effectively within the parameters of the bargaining unit contract. Your day-to-day involves optimizing processes to eliminate waste, increasing quality, and aligning activity and resources to desired outcomes.
You will serve as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, furnishing accurate instructions and managing the flow of product through the operation. The role requires a "finger on the pulse" of plant activities, enabling you to see and hear through the lens of performance. You will be responsible for resolving unforeseen issues, modifying labor schedules as needed, and maintaining a balance between multiple project priorities.

Experience supervising in a manufacturing environment. Experience with TPM, Synchronous Mfg., and Kaizen Concepts. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, good team building skills, excellent people skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, technically oriented. Energetic and self-starter, able to promote and implement change, good PC skills, good telephone skills, strong organizational skills, and ability to promote a continuous improvement atmosphere.
Skills: TPM, Synchronous MFG, Kaizen Concepts, 6S.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
