This off-shift position is located within our Plant 3 and serves as a vital link between planning, management, and execution. You will direct and motivate the manufacturing workforce to produce high-quality products in the most efficient and safe manner, ensuring that scheduling meets both business and customer needs.
In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to the planning process, anticipating stakeholder needs and preparing operations for optimal execution. You will lead by example, fostering a safe environment and facilitating continuous improvement through the implementation of ABS principles and the 6S program. Your day-to-day involves managing labor schedules, resolving operational and maintenance problems, and ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements and EHS rules. You will also mentor new supervisors, drive a culture of ownership, and serve as a liaison between management, union officials, and the production floor.

Experience supervising in a manufacturing environment. Experience with TPM, Synchronous Mfg., and Kaizen Concepts. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, have good team building skills, excellent people skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, and be technically oriented. Must be energetic and a self-starter, able to promote and implement change, have good PC skills, good telephone skills, strong organizational skills, and ability to promote a continuous improvement atmosphere.
Skills: TPM, Synchronous MFG, Kaizen Concepts, 6S.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
