This off-shift position is located within our Plant 3 and serves as a vital link between planning, management, and execution. The role is designed to direct and motivate the manufacturing workforce to produce high-quality products in the most efficient and safe manner, ensuring that scheduling meets both business and customer needs.
In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to the planning process, anticipating the needs of multiple stakeholder groups to prepare operations for optimal execution. You will lead by example, facilitating a safe environment and working effectively within the parameters of the bargaining unit contract. Your day-to-day involves optimizing processes to eliminate waste, increase quality, and align resources to desired outcomes. As a facilitator, you will interact with internal and external stakeholders at multiple levels, acting as a liaison to ensure accurate instructions are furnished and the flow of product is managed effectively.
You will be expected to deal effectively with the unforeseen, modifying labor schedules or variables as needed based on circumstances. By maintaining a "finger on the pulse" of plant operations, you will monitor for physical and personnel issues, making recommendations and changes based on patterns and data. Ultimately, you will accept accountability for the performance of others and the business, inspiring ownership and improvement in your team.

Experience supervising in a manufacturing environment. Experience with TPM, Synchronous Mfg., and Kaizen Concepts. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, good team building skills, excellent people skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, technically oriented. Energetic and self-starter, able to promote and implement change, good PC skills, good telephone skills, strong organizational skills, and ability to promote a continuous improvement atmosphere.
Skills: TPM, Synchronous MFG, Kaizen Concepts, 6S.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
