About the Role
The Supervisor position within the Lab CBMC department at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center plays a pivotal role in the diagnostic ecosystem. This role supervises, coordinates, and actively participates in the activities of employees performing routine standardized biological and biochemical tests, as well as more complex procedures on blood. These efforts directly assist physicians in the diagnosis and clinical management of patients.
In this capacity, you will assume responsibility for recognizing results or problems that require immediate referral to the Medical Director, Laboratory Director, or Manager. The role also involves performing additional tasks as requested by the Chair of Pathology or their designee, ensuring the laboratory operates with precision and efficiency during evening shifts.
