About the Role
Are you looking to be a part of a growing, sustainable business while also looking to make a difference in your community? WM is hiring an Industrial Plant Maintenance Supervisor at our brand-new state-of-the-art recycling facility. In this role, you will plan, direct, and control the efforts of the Maintenance Department to maintain plant equipment and facilities commensurate with good engineering practices. You will lead the team in executing an effective preventive maintenance program to minimize unscheduled downtime and ensure all operating equipment remains in satisfactory condition.
Shift Details
This position is based on an Evening Shift schedule, running from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage the preventive maintenance program and maintenance of equipment and facilities
- check_circleDevelop and administer a qualified organization to maintain equipment in safe and efficient condition
- check_circleSchedule repairs to minimize interference with plant operations
- check_circleCoordinate the efficient operation of facilities with project engineers
- check_circleOversee the efficient maintenance of all plant transportation equipment
- check_circleAnalyze cost studies and make recommendations to the Plant Manager to reduce operating costs
- check_circleDevelop objectives and performance standards for projects within the Maintenance Department
- check_circlePlan and ensure control over the supply of spare parts and maintenance supplies
- check_circleProvide leadership and maintenance training to MRF Maintenance Technicians
- check_circleEnsure preventative inspections and corrective repairs meet or exceed company standards
- check_circleConsult with other departments regarding equipment modifications and replacements to reduce costs
Requirements
- verifiedHigh School Diploma or G.E.D. (accredited)
- verified4 years of relevant work experience
Nice to Have
Industrial plant maintenance experience with equipment such as conveyor belts, robotics, PLCs, etc.
