The Technical Operations team is a diverse group of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain experts. We work collaboratively to ensure our fleet is in tip-top shape and ready for every journey.
About the Role
This position serves as a supervisor for Ground Service Equipment (GSE) operations at United's staffed maintenance locations. You will be the driving force behind local maintenance planning and execution, ensuring productivity, accountability, and compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Your role is critical in delivering the optimum level of GSE support to maintain safe and reliable airline operations.
In this role, you will partner with all local customer bases to ensure positive relations and the achievement of service level goals. You will lead efficient and effective team maintenance operations within a positive, productive, and safe work environment. Your day-to-day involves supervising team performance against division and corporate maintenance objectives, including maintenance cycle times and preventative maintenance program compliance. You will also coordinate technical training, manage employee dependability, and lead safety investigations and root cause analyses for any incidents involving GSE or team personnel.
