This position serves as the strategic leader for the District's financial integrity, directing and managing the critical functions of the Accounts Payable Department and the Central Cashier office. The role exists to ensure that all financial transactions, from processing vendor payments to depositing district revenues, adhere to generally accepted accounting principles, state and federal mandates, and District policies.
As the primary supervisor for this unit, you will foster a culture of accuracy and efficiency. Your day involves interpreting complex governmental regulations, resolving transaction disputes, and designing work teams that deliver high-quality service. You will bridge the gap between internal staff and external stakeholders, including vendors, school support teams, parents, and local government agencies, ensuring the District's financial ecosystem operates smoothly and transparently.
