About the Role
Our part-time Summer Camp Instructor embodies rock and roll in a positive way, creating the most valuable student experience possible. This role is designed to foster a safe and inspiring environment where students can achieve their musical and creative potential, ensuring every camper has an exceptional musical journey. It is an ideal opportunity for college students and working musicians to share their passion while guiding young artists.
Camp Instructors work closely with Camp Directors to deliver a fun, educational experience. You will facilitate daily activities, manage rehearsals, and provide individual instruction to help students progress throughout the week. From managing student behavior to creating an inclusive atmosphere, you will be the backbone of the camp's theme, helping students shine both on and off the stage.
Hiring Process
Ideal candidates are working musicians actively gigging, recording, or playing in a band. We look for individuals with a resourceful, problem-solving mindset who can work well under pressure. Availability is required for the full week of summer camps (Monday–Friday, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm), with flexibility to miss one or two weeks if necessary. Training sessions will be scheduled prior to the camp start dates.
