For the 2026-2027 school year, we are seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our Special Programs team. This paraprofessional role is dedicated to implementing behavior analytic services for children with Autism, Social-Emotional Disabilities, and related developmental disabilities within the school setting.
Working under the close, ongoing supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or BCaBA, the RBT focuses on the direct implementation of social skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The role is vital for supporting students in both 1:1 and group settings, ensuring a safe, organized, and inclusive learning environment.
In this position, you will not design intervention plans but will instead faithfully execute prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and reduction protocols. Your day will involve collecting and summarizing data on observable student behavior, modeling behavioral supports for school staff, and assisting Behavior Specialists and School Psychologists with assessments. You will also play a key role in crisis support and collaborate with parents, caregivers, and the broader school team to ensure consistent progress for every student.
