The Clinical Trials Processing Lab (CCC) at The Ohio State University James Cancer Hospital supports critical research focusing on cancer. The team operates with a mission to uphold the university's shared values and integrity while facilitating academic programs and patient care through rigorous clinical trial processing.
As a Student Research Assistant, you will work under the direct supervision of the laboratory manager to support clinical trials. This role is designed for students who possess excellent customer service skills and strong organizational abilities, serving as a representative of the department and the university.
Your day-to-day activities will involve a mix of administrative and laboratory tasks. You will assist with tube preparation and specimen processing, perform research study data entry, and copy records for monitor visits. The role also includes essential housekeeping duties such as restocking lab supplies, discarding study kits, and de-icing freezers. The position offers a flexible work schedule that adapts to your class schedule each semester.
