About the Role
High Point University is seeking a Student Experience Coordinator to play a vital role in supporting the mission of the School of Optometry (HPUSO). This position is dedicated to fostering student success and engagement throughout the program. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Student Experience (ADSE), the Coordinator serves as a key resource, connecting students with academic, professional, and personal support services both within HPUSO and across the greater High Point University community.
The role involves a dynamic day-to-day rhythm, balancing the development of admissions processes with the continuous assessment of student success predictors. You will assist in tracking student progression, analyzing data to close the feedback loop on outcomes, and coordinating student-focused programming to cultivate a strong sense of community and belonging. Success in this position requires the ability to multitask effectively—alternating between data entry, phone conversations, and in-person interactions—while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and confidentiality.
