About the Role
Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is seeking a Structural / Stress Engineer to join our integrated team in Chula Vista, CA. In this role, you will perform critical structural analysis of aircraft components, assemblies, and systems to support design studies. Your work will drive the development of finite element models and loads, utilizing both FEA and hand calculations to conduct static, fatigue, and vibration analysis.

Requirements

Nice to Have
Degrees in Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil, Structural, or similar fields. Experience with aircraft or space vehicle structures. General knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements. Experience with NASTRAN or equivalent software. Experience working with international teams. Background in composite material structure and design.
