Key Responsibilities
- check_circleAnalyze structural systems and perform calculations using software and hand methods
- check_circleCoordinate with CADD staff to complete construction documents and review RFIs
- check_circlePrepare comprehensive reports and correspondence for assigned projects
- check_circleAttend construction site observations and project team meetings as required
- check_circleEnsure compliance with building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, and AISC 360
- check_circlePlan, organize, and manage small-scale engineering projects
- check_circleReview submittals and construction materials while coordinating responses with the Engineer of Record
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering
- verifiedMinimum of 2 years of experience in the engineering field
- verifiedRegistration as an Engineer Intern with at least one state
- verifiedExperience with Microsoft Office products
- verifiedEffective written and oral communication
Nice to Have
Licensure as a Civil or Structural Engineer in at least one state. Experience with RISA analysis software suite. Experience in Revit. Experience with AutoCAD. Master's Degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering or a closely related field.
