The Engineer in Training (EIT) is an entry-level engineering position designed to provide hands-on experience in precast concrete design, production, and project coordination. This role supports senior engineers in structural analysis, project execution, and cross-functional collaboration while working toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure. The EIT gains exposure to multiple aspects of engineering, including design, manufacturing, and field operations.
Safety is our highest priority. We believe a safe workplace is built on mutual respect, care, and accountability. Every team member is empowered and expected to follow safety practices, look out for one another, and speak up about potential risks. Together, we create an environment where everyone goes home safely each day. This commitment extends to the physical demands of the role, where team members must navigate active plant and field environments, wear required PPE, and remain vigilant around industrial hazards.
At Wells, we empower talented team members to deliver exceptional client experiences through innovative problem-solving across preconstruction, engineering, operations, and project management. Guided by honesty and hard work, we build lasting trust while continuously improving building processes. Through strong collaboration, we deliver safe, reliable results that reduce risk and help our clients and communities succeed.
