This position serves as a key contributor to the Manager of Stress & Structural Engineering. The role is designed to provide comprehensive mechanical and structural engineering services, focusing on pipe engineering design for pipe supports, skids, ductwork, pressure parts, and structural supports. A significant aspect of the role involves managing outsourced engineering design to ensure alignment with project goals.
You will be responsible for producing designed items, parts, and components for complex equipment, assemblies, steel frames, connections, piping, and pressure parts. Success in this role requires applying knowledge of basic engineering principles alongside current manufacturing and fabrication methods. You will coordinate work to interface effectively with other departments within the company and external vendors, ensuring seamless project execution.
Candidates selected for this role will be expected to demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously. The role requires excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively present analysis results in various formats, including written reports, marked-up drawings, sketches, spreadsheets, and presentations.
