About the Role
As a Store Manager, you will lead Mattress Firm's vision and company initiatives while achieving sales performance goals across multiple store units. This role goes beyond typical retail management; you will be responsible for holding associates accountable for in-store merchandising execution, leading selling programs, and driving key performance indicators. Your primary focus is ensuring teams always put the customer at the center, creating a compelling and engaging environment for both team members and shoppers.
You will serve as an effective coach, developing associates' skills and performance to foster a collaborative and motivated team dedicated to success. The position requires a strategic mindset to analyze reporting, determine appropriate staffing levels, and partner with leadership to make necessary changes. You will also manage stock inventory levels, review merchandise flow, and ensure the timely execution of opening and closing procedures.
