About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Store Manager who embodies GNC's "Live Well" philosophy—living strong, living long, and living fit. With your understanding of business needs and passion for health and wellness, you will find great excitement in offering tailored and innovative solutions to each customer.
In this full-time hourly supervisory position, you will lead, coach, and support your team to provide exceptional service and guidance to our customers. You'll oversee the daily operations of the store, including business performance and product management, ensuring your team has the tools to succeed. In this key role, you'll represent the GNC brand by offering expert product knowledge and promoting our "Live Well" message to customers.
Working Environment
This role requires physical activity, including standing or walking for up to eight hours a day, frequent reaching, bending, and twisting, and lifting up to twenty pounds (occasionally up to 40 pounds). The position involves using a computer up to 60% of the time and working in temperatures ranging from 50 to 85 degrees, particularly in stock room areas. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Schedule
Store Managers are expected to work five days (40 hours) a week. Specific scheduling requirements vary by location:
- Mall and Strip Center Stores: Must work at least two nights during the week until closing, one weekend night, and one other night. Strip center managers must also work a full shift on Saturdays.
- Mall Managers: Expected to work peak business days, including weekends (Saturday & Sunday), and a minimum of one full Sunday per month.
- Downtown Stores: Must work during the lunch hour (11 am to 2 pm) Monday through Friday and one night per week until closing if the store is open in the evening. Downtown store managers are not required to work Saturdays.
- All Locations: Managers are expected to work all major U.S. holidays that the store is open.
