Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations. This position is central to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth processing of sales transactions. As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, greeting customers and assisting them with their purchases while maintaining a welcoming and organized store environment.

Day in the Life

Your day will involve a variety of tasks designed to keep the store running efficiently. You will operate the cash register, handle cash and card payments, and bag items for customers. Beyond the register, you will assist customers with questions, stock shelves, and organize racks and displays to ensure merchandise is easily accessible. A significant part of the role involves processing donations; you will accept, sort, tag, and price donated items, preparing them for the sales floor.
