Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations. This position is essential for maintaining a welcoming environment for customers while supporting the organization's mission through the processing of donations and sales. As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, assisting customers with their purchases and ensuring the store remains organized and clean.

Day in the Life

In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks that keep the store running smoothly. Your day may involve operating the cash register, processing both cash and card transactions, as well as bagging items for customers. You will also assist shoppers by answering questions and helping them find what they need.

Beyond the register, you will contribute to the back-of-house and sales floor operations. This includes stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and displays, and tagging and pricing donated items. You may also assist in accepting donations from the community, sorting these items, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor. Maintaining a clean and organized store environment is a key part of the role, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for all visitors.
