Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations and customer service efforts. This position is essential for maintaining the smooth flow of our stores, ensuring a welcoming environment for donors and shoppers, and processing sales transactions efficiently. As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, assisting customers with their purchases, answering questions, and contributing to the overall cleanliness and organization of the store.

Day in the Life

Your day will involve a mix of customer interaction and operational tasks. You will greet customers warmly, process sales transactions using the cash register, and handle both cash and card payments. Beyond the register, you will assist shoppers with their purchases, bag items, and help maintain an organized sales floor by stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and displays, and tagging merchandise. You will also play a key role in our donation process by accepting donations, sorting donated items, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor. Maintaining a clean and organized store environment is a core part of your responsibilities, ensuring that all areas of the store meet our standards.
