About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic Store Clerks and Cashiers to join our team and assist with daily retail store operations. This role is essential to maintaining a welcoming and efficient shopping environment for our customers. You will serve as the face of Goodwill, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth processing of sales transactions.
In this position, you will be responsible for operating the cash register, handling cash and card payments, and assisting customers with their purchases. Beyond the register, you will play a key role in store presentation by stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and displaying racks, and tagging and pricing donated items. You will also assist in accepting and sorting donations, helping to prepare merchandise for the sales floor.
What You Will Do
As a Store Clerk, you will greet customers warmly, answer questions, and help maintain a clean and organized store environment. You will follow store procedures for handling donations, pricing merchandise, and operating the register. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will ensure that the store runs smoothly and that customers have a positive experience.
