About the Role

Walmart is seeking Stockers, Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining an organized, well-stocked, and clean environment that enhances the shopping experience for our customers.

Day in the Life

As a Stocker or Backroom Associate, you will play a key role in the daily rhythm of the store. Your day typically involves unloading delivery trucks, sorting and organizing merchandise in the backroom, and organizing inventory in the backroom, and stocking shelves with fresh merchandise. You will be responsible for rotating inventory to ensure product freshness, building promotional displays, and labeling products accurately.

Associates may use equipment such as pallet jacks and carts to move merchandise throughout the store and utilize inventory systems to track stock levels. Attention to detail is critical as you maintain inventory accuracy and keep both the backroom and sales floor organized and sales floor tidy and efficient.

Overnight Opportunities

For those interested in overnight shifts, this role offers the unique opportunity to stock shelves and prepare the store for opening while the store is closed.
