Job Description
About the Role
Walmart is seeking Stockers, Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by unloading deliveries, organizing inventory, stocking shelves, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor. This position is essential for maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring the store is organized and ready for customers. Associates are responsible for unloading trucks, sorting and organizing merchandise in the backroom, stocking shelves, rotating inventory, building displays, labeling products, and keeping the backroom and sales floor organized. Backroom and Receiving Associates may also use pallet jacks, carts, and inventory systems to move and track merchandise throughout the store.
Overnight stockers focus on stocking shelves and preparing the store for opening while the store is closed. This role offers opportunities for advancement into Team Lead or Department Manager roles.
