About the Role

Walmart is seeking Stockers, Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining an organized, well-stocked, and clean environment that enhances the shopping experience for our customers.

Day in the Life

As a Stocker or Backroom Associate, you will play a key role in the daily rhythm of the store. Your day typically involves unloading delivery trucks, sorting and organizing merchandise in the backroom, and organizing inventory in the backroom, and stocking shelves with fresh product. You will be responsible for rotating inventory to ensure freshness, building promotional displays, and labeling products accurately.

Associates may use equipment such as pallet jacks and carts to move merchandise efficiently throughout the store. You will also utilize inventory systems to track stock levels and maintain accuracy. Whether you are working overnight to prepare the store for opening or during the day to support ongoing operations, your attention to detail and organizational skills will keep the backroom and sales floor running smoothly.
