About the Role

Walmart is seeking Stockers, Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining an organized, well-stocked, and clean environment that enhances the shopping experience for our customers.

Day in the Life

As a Stocker or Backroom Associate, you will play a key role in the daily rhythm of the store. Your day typically involves unloading delivery trucks, sorting and organizing merchandise in the backroom, and organizing inventory in the backroom, and stocking shelves with fresh merchandise. You will be responsible for rotating inventory to ensure product freshness, building promotional displays, and labeling products accurately.

You may utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and carts to move merchandise throughout the store, while using inventory systems to track and manage stock levels. Maintaining inventory accuracy and keeping both the backroom and sales floor organized are sales floor clean and tidy are critical parts of your responsibilities.

Overnight Opportunities

For those interested in overnight shifts, Stockers focus on stocking shelves and preparing the store for opening while the store is closed. This is a great opportunity for individuals who prefer working in a quieter environment and want to ensure the store is ready for the next day's shoppers.

This position offers a pay range of $15 to $21 per hour, with additional $21 per hour, with opportunities for overnight shift differential pay, overtime pay, holiday pay, and performance-based raises depending on shift and location.
