About the Role

Walmart is seeking Stockers, Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining inventory accuracy and keeping the store organized and ready for customers.

Day in the Life

As a Stocker or Backroom Associate, you will play a key part in the daily operations of the store. Your day typically involves unloading delivery trucks, sorting and organizing merchandise in the backroom, and organizing items in the backroom, and stocking shelves with fresh inventory. You will also be responsible for rotating stock, building displays, labeling products, and using equipment like pallet jacks and carts, and keeping both the backroom and sales floor clean and organized.

Overnight stockers focus on preparing the store for the next day by stocking shelves and setting up the store while it is closed. This position may involve working overnight shifts, which can come with differential pay opportunities.
