About the Role
Walmart is seeking Stockers, Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining inventory accuracy and keeping the store organized and ready for customers.
Day in the Life
As a Stocker or Backroom Associate, you will be responsible for unloading delivery trucks, sorting merchandise, and organizing inventory in the backroom. You will stock shelves, rotate inventory, build displays, and label products to ensure the sales floor is well-presented. Depending on the shift, you may use pallet jacks, carts, and inventory systems to move and track merchandise throughout the store.
Overnight stockers focus on stocking shelves and preparing the store for opening while the store is closed.
