About the Role

Walmart is seeking Stockers, Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing backroom bins, and ensuring the store is well-stocked and organized for customers.

Day in the Life

As a Stocker or Backroom Associate, you will play a key part in the daily rhythm of the store. Your day typically involves unloading delivery trucks, sorting and organizing merchandise in the backroom, and organizing incoming inventory, and stocking shelves with fresh products. You will also be responsible for rotating inventory to ensure freshness, building promotional displays, and labeling products. Using tools like pallet jacks and carts, you will move merchandise throughout the store while tracking inventory through internal systems.

Overnight Stockers focus specifically on preparing the store for the next day's operations, stocking shelves and organizing the backroom while the store is closed. Whether you are working full-time or part-time, your efforts help keep the store clean, organized, and ready for shoppers.
