Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, located in Baltimore, MD, has an immediate need for a Staff Test Pilot for Flight Test Operations. This organization provides flight test capabilities for the development, assessment, and demonstration of NGC products and systems.
In this role, you will partner with program teams to verify analysis in support of aircraft modifications and provide technical support for sensor integration. You will plan and execute flight operations within the National Airspace System, including Special Use Airspace, military exercises, and cooperation with military assets. The position requires maintaining currency and proficiency in multiple aircraft types while performing research and development flight tests to support sensor development intended for a wide variety of applications.

Master's degree in engineering or related technical discipline. FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) rating. Previous experience in aircraft modifications, configuration and control, and technical/operational review boards. Familiarity with government flight test organizations, ranges, and processes. Technical and operational familiarity with airborne radar systems. FAA type ratings and experience in multi-engine, non-centerline thrust aircraft.
