About the Role
As a Staff Technologist within the CT Scanner department, you will perform computed tomographic procedures under the direction of a radiologist. This role operates at a technical level that requires independent judgment to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, without the need for constant supervision on technical details. You will assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures and may assist the radiologist in interventional procedures.
Beyond clinical duties, you serve as an ambassador for the University of Toledo Medical Center (UTMC) in the community, actively demonstrating the organization's values, services, and mission. This position involves a rotating shift schedule with variable hours, including weekends and holidays, and requires a willingness to float between locations as needed.
