The Manager for Experiential Learning serves as a strategic leader within the Career Connections Center, dedicated to creating robust pathways for experiential learning collaborations across curricular and co-curricular experiences. This role exists to bridge the gap between the university community and the professional world, fostering deep relationships with employers, alumni, and industry partners to secure post-graduation opportunities for students.
In this position, you will act as both a connector and a coach. You will engage with a diverse network of stakeholders to expand experiential learning initiatives, ensuring they align with UF's policies and best practices. A significant portion of your day will involve consulting with faculty and staff to integrate career development directly into their curricula and advising efforts, while also supporting the teaching of competency-based education.
Beyond partnership building, you will customize immersive experiences such as shadowing programs and niche career fairs. You will facilitate critical reflection for students at every stage of their involvement, guiding them toward strategic success outcomes based on their unique career interests. Additionally, you will drive campus-wide engagement through the development of marketing materials, educational resources, and data-driven reports that tell the story of UF's experiential learning impact.
