Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is hiring a Staff Systems Engineer (Level 5) to join its team in Roy, Utah, supporting the Sentinel program. This position will support the Air Force's sustainment, development, production, and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities, and associated infrastructure.
As a Staff Systems Engineer, you will join a team of passionate professionals providing real-life solutions to our world's biggest challenges. You will collaborate with program Integrated Product Team (IPT) counterparts to develop supporting systems engineering and design artifacts. Your work will involve working with both technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature the architecture content of large program designs. You will help develop and incorporate appropriate requirements for the system, ensuring they are properly represented in the model, and contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis.
You will also develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical) and contribute to creating unifying model techniques, procedures, and processes for model development, tool integration, and team integration.
This position requires a Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval. Relocation assistance may be available. The role involves travel of approximately 10% of the time.
The standard work schedule for this position is 9/80. This schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Active DoD Top Secret Clearance. Understanding of the Systems Engineering V-Model. Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS. Experience in SysML or UPDM modeling languages. Proficiency with the DoDAF, UAF, or other modeling frameworks. Experience modeling with Cameo Enterprise Architecture, MagicDraw, or other architecture modeling tools. Experience using tools to model large systems with multiple developers. Experience exporting documentation out of a model-based environment. Experience in Software and/or Hardware design. Experience in documenting Interface Control Documents, Interface Requirement Specifications, and Interface Description Documents. Experience with software defined hardware structures (i.e., software defined radars and field programmable gate arrays). Experience with modeling and simulation programs such as the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling (AFSIM). Experience with applying hypervisors, cross-domain solutions, multi-level security systems, or modular open systems approach to integrated systems. Experience with scripting and coding languages such as Python. Experience with Agile Development. Experience with ICBM weapon system sustainment engineering and integration.
