About the Role
Baptist Health System in San Antonio is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as the Emergency Department Supervisor. This position is a vital component of the departmental leadership team, providing clinical supervision on a shift basis to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
As the Supervisor, you will act as a unit patient flow coordinator, facilitating admissions, discharges, and transfers while coordinating staffing for the upcoming shift in collaboration with the Director, Clinical Manager, and House Officer. You will serve as a clinical and leadership resource and role model for the staff, providing supervisory input into department staff evaluations and performance reviews. This role is designed for a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to mentoring the team while managing complex operational needs.
