In this position, you will assess patients' nursing care needs and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided, integrating nursing theory and research into daily clinical practice. You will serve as a leader for the nursing team, ensuring patient care standards are maintained while applying scientific, behavioral, and humanistic principles to your work.
Your day will involve collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate the continuum of care, developing comprehensive patient care plans, and implementing interventions that address the unique psychological, educational, and socioeconomic conditions of each patient. You will also function as a patient advocate, incorporating the principles of Service Leadership to ensure positive patient and customer relations. Additionally, you will contribute to the unit's success by participating in quality improvement activities, strategic planning, and the orientation of new nursing staff and healthcare students.
