About the Role

This Staff Accountant position serves as a vital support function within the finance team, assisting with critical month-end, half-year, and year-end financial submissions. The role is designed for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, preparing data for internal and external auditors while managing special projects as requested.

You will be the backbone of daily accounting operations, handling journal entries, account and bank reconciliations, and inventory transaction audits. The role also involves supporting sales and margin objectives through data analysis and reporting, managing customer contract files, and calculating commission and rebate payments. Additionally, you will implement price changes in the ERP system and serve as a backup for setting up new customer files.

This is a full-time temporary contract of up to 6 months. The role operates on a hybrid model, requiring presence in the office two days a week. Please note that Saturdays and holidays may be required during month-end close periods.
