About the Role
Apptad Inc. is seeking an SSO Engineer to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time, onsite position focused on the secure separation, migration, and integration of identity infrastructure during complex business divestitures.
The role exists to ensure minimal disruption to user access while executing high-stakes divestiture strategies. You will be the technical lead for PingFederate environments, managing the lifecycle of federated trusts and identity providers as business units transition between organizations. This position requires a blend of deep technical expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and the ability to navigate the unique challenges of separating enterprise identity stores.
Day in the Life
Your work will center on designing and maintaining high-availability PingFederate environments across enterprise landscapes. You will spend significant time troubleshooting complex authentication and federation issues to ensure continuous service availability. A key part of your day involves collaborating with application owners to onboard new systems and migrate existing ones to the SSO platform, ensuring seamless integration with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solutions.
You will also drive the execution of secure separation strategies, planning identity federation solutions for users transitioning between organizations. This includes conducting regular security reviews and vulnerability assessments to ensure configurations comply with corporate policies and regulatory standards. Documentation is a critical component of the role, as you will maintain architectural diagrams, runbooks, and standard operating procedures for the SSO infrastructure.
